| Home : Update New Year 2011 Merry noo Year!!! My Compact Disco night returns to the Admiral on Hogmanay Friday December 31st in the Black Sparrow basement. The last night was amazing with Groove Armada popping by to dj after their gig at the O2 Academy. We told you it was going to be a big guest! Loads of nights in the pipeline for Compact Disco, best way of keeping in touch is joining the Compact Disco Facebook group for more information. There is a new Compact disco mix for you to download with tracks from Azari and III, Aeroplane, Shit Robot, Tensnake and Fleetwood Mac...... Bit of radio news. Galaxy is changing to become Capital on January 3rd 2011. I will now be broadcasting every Saturday iinto Sunday morning 2am to 6am. Yip that is one extra hour of electro, house, techno, dubstep, breaks to play with ! My single Somebody's Property is getting re-released on Glasgow Underground in the New Year. What a remix package we have! I am delighted with all the remixes the guys have done! Excellent remixes from Sei A, AliOOFT, Rob Etherson, Kevin McKay, Jazzy Phat Nasties, Jon Pleased Wimmin and my own new Mash Compact Disco mix. Keep you posted on the release date. I love playing at Let it Bleed,it is always amazing and I've played with people like Bloody Beetroots, Sinden, Kissy Sell Out, Riton, Digitalism, Carl Craig, Errors, Dan le Sac, Bonde del role etc.... Some big guests to follow…. Watch this space! Also Burn Mondays at the Buff are still rocking after so many years being the original and best Monday night trade night. GROOVE ARMADA popped down and did an impromptu dj set after their recent Glasgow gig. Also lead singer Ben of the support band, (and also the singer of Groove Armadas latest hit, ‘Paper Romance’,) FENECH SOLER did a dj set. It was an amazing night, the next day wasn’t so amazing though ha ha. It was Burns’ 15th Birthday on Monday 1st February. 15 years of people phoning in sick on a Tuesday! In that time has seen guests from Mylo, Joey Negro, Jacques Lu Cont, Krafty Kuts, Leo Greenslade, Todd Terje........ As well as Mike Skinner, Kings of Leon, Massive Attack, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris, Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Avril Lavingne, Spice Girls, Iron Maiden, George Benson have all been down as punters. Plus hundreds of clubbers all turning out at Burn. The guys absolutely rocked and we will definately get them back in the future. Twitch is one of my favourite djs of all time! Twitch was totally rocking despite a water leak dripping on him, rock and roll.
