Rollercoasters
Ok it has been a rollercoaster month in the world of Mash. Firstly, the new Mash single ‘Style is The Answer’ was released, and then sold out, on vinyl on Monday, the download is available next Monday on Beatport! I have played numerous gigs including T in the Park, raised nearly £2k for Yorkhill at our Sub Club fundraiser, and saw my first Mixmag on the shelves!
Secondly, Capital are moving their weekends in a more commercial r&b direction, so this means my last show will be this Friday into Saturday 2am to 5am. I have been broadcasting from the same building for nearly 15 years of through Beat 106, XFM Scotland, Galaxy and more recently Capital.
I have great memories of my time here with all the guests I have had on over the years, like Moby, Tiga, Groove Armada, Beardyman, Hot Chip, Depeche Mode, Jamie Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Disclosure, Calvin Harris, Underworld, Mylo, Martyn, Jackmaster, MK, SBTRKT, Silicone Soul, Mr C, Murk, Herve, The Revenge, Goldie, Basement Jaxx, Pendulum, Slam, Sei A, Green Velvet, Optimo, Soul II Soul, Dave Clarke….. I would like to thank all of them for being part of the journey and also to thank you guys, the listeners!

This Friday night Sub Club & CompactDisco In Aid Of Yorkhill Children’s Foundation MASH (Capital FM / Mixmag) Boom Monk Ben i AM … Jasper James Friday 6th July 2012 11pm – 3am Sub Club £5 all night On July 6th we are hosting a fundraising event for fantastic people at Yorkhill Children’s Foundation. Featuring some of Glasgow’s best DJs and Sub Club favourites, it’s a party to rival any other while benefitting a cause that’s important to so many in our fair city..
